Harry Potter Lego Hogwarts Express Train sets

New Harry Potter Lego Hogwarts Express Train sets are the second most popular type of HP Lego sets, right behind Hogwarts Castle sets. Little boys love trains, so when you combine them with Legos AND Harry Potter it’s a great mix.

As HP fans know, the Hogwarts Express is a train that takes the kids from their homes to the magical world of Hogwarts castle school of magic. You can find several different versions of it in Lego form.

Depending on the set you will get lots of extra neat items that go with the train. These include luggage, trolley carts, owls, ice cream, food carts and more. Most of the train cars have a removable top so you can see inside and place items in them.

Some of the new Lego Hogwarts Express train sets come complete with a track while others do not. There is normally at least 3 cars which includes the engine, some sets have more than that.

So lets start with the first one above, the Lego Hogwarts Express train set 4841. This set has 3 train cars total, with tops that remove so you can place items inside.

It also comes with the blue flying car of Mr. Weasley’s, cool! The Lego figures it comes with are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Draco Malfoy.

You get several pieces of luggage, owls, food trolley, ice cream and other items. Total pieces in this set is 646 Lego pieces, not bad. It does not come with a track.

The next one is the only motorized Hogwarts Express train ever made by Lego. It has 708 pieces with a circular train track. It actually can fit right on a Lionel train track of the right size, and the speed is variable.

It has the Hogsmeade train station with lots of details and even a secret compartment. The train has three cars including the engine. You can remove the top of the cars to look inside and put the figures in.

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Professor Lupin and a Dementor are included Lego figures. There are a few other items that go with it. If you love motorized trains then this new Hogwarts Express Lego train set is for you!

The Lego Hogwarts Express train set 4708 above is another good one with a mid price range. With 410 pieces it comes with the train station Kings Cross Platform, spin the wall to reveal platform 9 3/4.

It comes with lots of extras like luggage, broomsticks, owls, station clocks, lamp post and more. Top of the train cars open to see inside and place the 3 included Lego figures of Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione.

Finally we have the new Harry Potter Express train set 4758. At 386 pieces it’s another mid price one. It has a lot of neat moving parts and lots of compartments and so on.

The top of the cars open so you can put the figures inside and see the details. Comes with Lego figures Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Professor Lupin, and a Dementor. Also includes the Hogsmeade train station.

The four above are pretty much the only Lego Hogwarts Express train sets they make. They make a great addition to your Hogwarts castle Lego set and you can add on more sets.
